As part of the Canberra District Wine Week, No. 10 Restaurant + Bar had the pleasure of partnering with Shaw Vineyard to host an intimate dinner and wine experience for 50 lucky guests.
The menu carried a strong seasonal tone, showcasing five of Shaw Vineyard’s best wines.
The night started with a bold seafood influence including a house smoked salmon rillette paired with a 2015 Sparkling Cuvée, and tortellini of king flathead and prawn paired with a 2014 Semillon Sauvignon Blanc.
Guests were then able to experience a unique wine presentation given by Shaw Vineyard representatives during the interlude.
The heart of the menu featured signature dishes from the new Autumn menu; including Confit Spatchcock with a 2013 Shiraz. This was then followed by a Roast Lamb Rump with spiced carrot purée, charred corn, zuchinni pearls, and fried curry leaves; perfectly paired with a 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon.
